Our Client a Global Telecoms Giant are looking for an Experienced Project Manager (FTTC) to join their team in Manchester on an initial 3 month contract

Essential Skills

* Manage stake-holders and communications (internal & external)

* Create and maintain all work-stream delivery plans

* Manage risk and issue logs (RAID)

* Manage and lead virtual team, including 3rd parties service providers

* Complete Governance and quality assurance

Day to Day Responsibilities

A project manager, supported by two FTTC Upgrade order managers, will be responsible for the delivery of the FTTC upgrade programme, managing the Staines Router Staging area and also management of Openreach Professional Services who will provide project implementation support.

There are a total of 2189 circuits to be upgraded with a 3 month mobilisation and pilot phase followed by a 1 year rollout. This team will submit FTTC Upgrade orders, arrange scheduling of Openreach resource, deal with day-to-day escalations and issues such as missed appointments and re-schedules, provide reporting on progress, attend CABs and, in general, perform all the tasks and activities necessary to provide an exemplary service and delivery.
