Senior Transformation Programme Manager - Technology, Finance, Stakeholder Management, PMP

A senior level Transformation Programme Manager, within the technology space, is required to join a company who are the World's leading source of intelligent information for business and professionals.

The duration of the contract is for 12 months, located in Central London.

Primary Objective:

The primary purpose of this role is to translate the client's Finance and Risk technology vision into an actionable strategic workforce plan that will ensure that the correct resources are in place to deliver the strategy for growth and change.

Role Responsibilities:

* Develop an appropriate delivery structure for the programme to ensure line of sight and control of the delivery at all stages

* Actively leads in all phases of the programme.

* Identifies, assesses and manages risks, issues, assumptions and dependencies to the success of the programme and ensure stakeholders have information to make effective decisions.

* Creates a framework for effective alignment of all programme activity to the strategy and to ensure appropriate and effective communication and understanding at all levels of the organisation.

* Develop and implement an effective Programme governance structure which ensures engagement, alignment, decisions and support from executive sponsors and senior stakeholders.

* Builds effective relationships to ensure the success of the project.

* Has accountability for and leadership responsibility for controlling all aspects of the programme including scope, plan, change control, budget, quality and delivery in line with agreed success criteria.

* Develops and leads the process for dealing with rapid major change.

* Ensures the communication channels and processes are in place to notify key stakeholders so that plans can be amended and the necessary action taken.

* Establishes the appropriate tools and processes to meet project goals.

* Influences programme sponsor to make the appropriate decisions and modifications in response to external influences on the programme.

* Effectively communicates highly complex ideas and issues to executive leadership; demonstrating a high degree of diplomacy and influence in all situations.

* Modifies personal approach and style to reflect changing circumstance.

* Ensures appropriate sponsorship.

* Leads the steering committee and engages all needed executive level sponsorship.

* Develops and maintains an integrated view of related functional areas across the divisions.

Scope and Impact:

* Responsible for working with the Finance and Risk Technology business leads to identify where there is a requirement to restructure to realign resources to growth.

* Responsible for leading a matrix team of project and programme managers and subject matter experts to define, scope, manage, and lead this complex programme while working with senior management to ensure business objectives are achieved.

* Ensure appropriate visibility into assigned programmes to all levels of management, up to and including executive management including at the divisional or corporate level.

* Delivery of this programme will support the client's ability to achieve revenue targets in customer segments.

* Be a recognized programme management expert within the company and as thought leader externally.

* Be able to clearly communicate and work through influence at executive levels spanning across organisations by adapting style to reflect changing needs.

Professional Experience:

* Experience must demonstrate managing large-scale restructuring projects or programmes, preferably within technology organisations with matrix teams based in multiple locations to successfully deliver within specified timescales and budget to drive for results in a highly visible environment.

* Able to demonstrate ability to deal with major change and ambiguity.

* Strong executive presence in communicating and working with senior management within BU, SBU, and C-Level Executives.
