C++ Developer / Software Engineer / Programmer (C / C++ UNIX Linux TCP/IP UDP). Global leading financial trading firm is seeking a skilled C++ Developer with a passion for technology. You will be responsible for the design and development of real-time multi-threaded financial data feed applications, managing the entire lifecycle of your applications from requirements gathering through to delivery. This development will involve low level networking protocols such as TCP/IP, UDP (unicast, multicast) as well as Java, XML, Python or suitable internet technology.

You'll be working in a friendly team environment that encourages knowledge sharing and close collaboration. City based offices with smart casual dress code.

Requirements:

*Strong object orientated C / C++ development experience on UNIX - passionate advocate of concise and simple code

*Good knowledge of Networking and associated technologies such as TCP/IP

*Good knowledge of low level systems (Linux kernel / device drivers)

*Logical mindset with excellent problem solving abilities

*Ability to manage your own projects

*Passion for technology with a real desire to continuously learn and improve skill set

*Excellent communication skills

*Degree educated
