Java Developer / Digital Developer / Software Engineer Java Core Java, J2EE, Spring, Hibernate is required to join a rapidly expanding team of talented and driven developers based in Glasgow City Centre to work with cutting edge technology in a truly Agile environment. A successful candidate will have:

* A proven track record in developing applications using: Core Java, J2EE, and Frameworks including Spring or Hibernate

* Experience in working with Test Driven Development practices, and in an Agile environment.

* Excellent problem solving and analytical skills

* University degree or equivalent experience in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or similar

What will you do?

* Deliver robust code and software within Business Requirements and to budget

* Developing new and existing code

* Design resilient and scalable software

* Create Automated Test Units

* Have influence over long-term strategic business planning and quality improvement

* Partner with and report to technology leads in order to develop project plans
