Jonothan Bosworth Recruitment Specialists are working with a dynamic organisation who are looking for an experienced IT Trainer to lead the development of new technologies inside their organisation. You will also be responsible for designing, producing and delivering training, either offsite in their IT Training suites or remotely via telephone and Skype for Business, to a diverse user base with the aim of improving and developing IT literacy throughout the organisation.

The ideal IT Trainer will provide an induction to the companys IT systems for any new permanent member of staff joining, as well as supporting the roll-out of new technologies such as mobile phones, tablets and other in house applications. If you can maintain all IT user documentation and eLearning resources, as well as developing new ones as new IT systems come online - this job opportunity should be for you!

THE PRE-REQUISITES:

* Set up, maintain and run an appropriate IT training programs

* Integrate and maintain all training courses

* Log all IT training incidents/requests received in ServiceNow. - ensuring ownership through to resolution whilst ensuring the agreed SLA and KPIs are met.

* Provide one-to-one training as required

* Collate statistics and KPIs for monthly reports

* Design and update course materials, handouts and guides to a high standard

* Setup and maintain the IT training suite, including equipment and applications as appropriate

* Support and coach learners including ?super users?

* Maintain appropriate records of training and resource allocation

* Ensure training ticket journal entries are regularly updated with clear written English, with no jargon or the use of acronyms

* Maintain the departmental intranet pages

* Produce regular blog posts to provide IT hints and tips to colleagues

* Maintain knowledge of current news, system information, problems, changes and updates relevant to our user community, including research techniques and resources.

THE SKILLS:

* Previous IT training experience

* Experience of creating eLearning solutions

* Expert knowledge and experience of Office 2010 and 2013 & Windows

* Solid understanding of workflow management

* Knowledge of networking and wireless technologies

* Ability to create and maintain professional version documentation

* Excellent presentation skills

* Project Management

* Knowledge of ServiceNow or similar management system

* Knowledge of databases and application support

THE QUALIFICATIONS:

Essential

* Degree or equivalent experience

* Professional IT training or teaching qualification

* Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) Master 2010 or 2013

* TAP training qualification

* Full clean driving license

Desirable

* MCP/MCSA/MCSE

* CCNA/CCNP

* ITIL Foundation qualified

* Membership of the Learning and Performance Institute or the Chartered Institute for IT (BCS)

* PRINCE2 Foundation and/or Practitioner.

Your communication skills must be fantastic as you will be dealing with all levels of people, also great customer service is vital. You must also have a positive attitude to learning and development as there will be plenty of new technologies to get stuck in to.

Presentation skills and high-level training skills are VITAL for this position.
