The chosen candidate will need to have the following skills and experience:

Test Lead Experience:

*Day to day management of the test team

*Daily work allocation to the team

*Involvement with development, business and Release Management in strategic planning for large deliveries

*Co-ordination of Impact Analysis

*Liaison with Release Management regarding progress and testing priorities

*Involvement with development, business and Release Management in strategic planning for large deliveries

*Escalation of issues with Release Management, Packaging, Supplier as appropriate

*Co-ordination of site access

*Ensuring adherence to Compliance policies

*Key skills

*Coaching and mentoring skills, able to support and assist others within the team

*Quality focused

*Point of contact and SME for all issues regarding the test team

*Liaison with Release Management regarding progress and testing priorities

*Excellent all round testing knowledge

*Formal ITIL and Testing Qualifications

*Ensures that the team activity is planned, runs to plan, delivers quality outputs and that the deliverable is right first time for the customer.

*Supports the organisation by delivering the necessary management information (weekly and monthly) ensuring a cost effective service is delivered by the team and organisation.

Previous proven Infrastructure Testing experience:

Working in a fast-paced testing environment, assessing products, checking for quality and accuracy, you will be responsible for:

*Test requirements gathering

*Forecasting testing effort

*Preparing and maintaining test plans

*Reviewing testing documentation

*Understanding design to produce test requirements

*Creating new strategies where required

*Providing feedback to development teams

*Scheduling testing

*Conducting risk assessments

*Continuous testing and upgrades

*Liaising with suppliers, teams and test management

*Preparing test scripts

*Test execution

*Owns and contributes to the technical design of customer solutions. Ability to translate technical details into concise and easy to understand written form. Ability to write relevant components of a proposal document (e.g. answer specific RFP/RFQ questions). Ability to translate verbal requirements from face to face client meetings into requirements documents, statements of work, and proposals.

Daily rate £310 per day

Due to the nature and urgency of this post, candidates holding or who have held high level security clearance in the past are most welcome to apply. Please note successful applicants will be required to be security cleared prior to appointment which can take up to a minimum 10 weeks.
