IT Service Design Lead job, Edinburgh, £50K-55K, for a leading retail bank.
Your new company
This retail bank are currently going through a period of growth. As a result of this, they require an IT Service Design Lead to join their team based in Edinburgh.
Your new role
You will be responsible for the on-boarding of IT service into the bank from various third party suppliers. You will work closely with these suppliers to ensure there services are meeting the needs of the bank. You will design new services and improvements to meet the banks business requirements. You will create the design package and support the banks IT services continuous improvement strategy.
What you'll need to succeed
You will have a strong knowledge of IT Service Management and ideally be a member of an IT service professional body, such as ITIL v3. You will have a background in dealing with third party suppliers and be comfortable in working in a highly regulated environment, ideally being financial services. You will be comfortable liaising with a variety of stakeholders and be able to organise your time appropriately around this.
What you'll get in return
You will receive a basic salary of £50K-55K. You will receive a benefits package on top of this, including a generous bonus and pension contribution. You will play a key role in the designing the IT services for the bank and have a supportive team around you to do so.
