Your new role

Based in the centre of Glasgow, the role of the BA will be to provide expert and professional business analysis services to the Group including requirements capture, prioritisation and translation into system requirements. Managing the relationship between business units, software product owners and software development roles. You will have exposure to a fast paced collaborative agile project environment with work-packages differing in size and timescale so the ability to juggle tasks simultaneously and complete these to strict deadlines is essential. Support fellow departments or group businesses with business analysis and delivery advice as necessary.

What you'll need to succeed

Ideally the candidate will posses:

* Degree level qualification or equivalent experience in an IT related subject

* Foundation certification in Business Analysis from recognised body e.g. BCS

Along side:

* Experience of working in an Agile delivery model within software engineering practices

* Process modelling

* User story definition

* Experience as a Business Analyst

* Strong analytical skills, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business needs

* Experience working in multi-disciplinary teams

* Proven ability to translate requirements into application and operational requirements

* Workshop facilitation

And:

* Ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, executives, managers, and subject matter experts

* Business sense

* Strong communicator with the ability to convert business requirements into manageable functional specifications

* Pragmatic and flexible

* Ability to work to tight time scales

* Can-do attitude
