Software Engineer - "C" coding and JavaScript

Enigma People Solutions is recruiting a talented software engineer to join a dynamic team within a forward thinking, innovative and a successful company.

This role will develop your skills and experience across a range of technology. Working within a multidisciplinary team you will focus on the user interface and front end embedded software for world class laser systems. Key responsibilities include:

· Design, implement and test user interface and top level control of complex systems.

· Skilfully analyse complex project needs and contribute to software solutions

and written proposals/documentation.

· Ensure that goals relating to product quality and coding efficiency are met

during the software lifecycle.

· Conduct and contribute to peer reviews to assess and defend viability of the

proposed software solution.

· Provide ongoing technical support for developed products.

Key skills required

Embedded programming, with in-depth experience of:

· C

· Development environments, the Eclipse or similar

· Peripheral communication - to other microprocessors and memory in real time.

· Complete web site development for user interfaces, with in depth experience of:

· Client side scripting (ideally JavaScript)

· HTML, CSS and other key W3C technologies

Useful Skills:

· Web GUIs

· General IT infrastructure

· Network attached processors

· Linux Operating System
