C++ Developer / Language Agnostic Software Engineer (C++ UNIX Python JavaScript Agile TDD). Global trading firm is seeking a passionate Senior Developer with a broad range of technical knowledge.

As a C++ Developer you'll work with your dedicated sales and product teams as well as directly with clients on important strategic and tactical projects, with the focus on the design and development of a trading platform that allows analysts and brokers to demonstrate their expertise in choosing profitable investments that can be used by portfolio managers and hedge funds.

The tech stack is C++ on UNIX/Linux with Python and JavaScript also used for GUIs. As a C++ Developer you'll work on a number of technically challenging projects including creating a new highly scalable and performant infrastructure to be rolled out globally as well as producing a mobile version of the platform for iOS and Android and helping to design and develop a new microservices architecture.

This role will suit a truly agnostic developer who relishes the idea of making technical decisions and choosing the right tool for the job.

Requirements:

*Indepth knowledge of object orientated design and development ideally using C++ on UNIX / Linux but other OO languages also considered (Java, C#)

*Experience of working on distributed, scalable, multi-threaded systems

*Strong JavaScript / TypeScript and / or Python

*Excellent communicator with good interpersonal skills, collaborative team player

*Advocate of Agile development methodologies - particularly TDD (Test Driven Development)

/ BDD Behavioural Driven Development / DDD (Domain Driven Development)
