QA Test Engineers - Glasgow - Salary £30-40,000 + Benefits

Company

A leading financial organisation that is looking to expand it's QA and Testing Function.

Role

We require skilled Test Engineers to work on a large number of key business initiatives. You will have a proven track record testing software solutions in a structured environment.

You will be confident in building relationships with team members and SME's within alternate business functions to discover details of required functionality. You will be confident in eliciting information from speaking to business owners as well as from formal documentation.

Key skills and experience

* Testing Web based solutions - Java, Oracle, PL-SQL would be advantageous

* Excellent understanding of test levels (from unit tests to UAT) and ability to advise the team on what to test

* Knowledge of high-level system architecture components such as application servers, databases and web services

* Experienced in one or more test frameworks and scripting automated functional tests

* Experience working in an agile environment; iterations of approximately 2-3 weeks, design to delivery.

* Experience in performance testing would be advantageous
