Support Analyst SQL/Oracle/Windows/Unix - Fintech - Trading - London - 35k

I am currently searching for a support analyst with SQL, Oracle, Windows and Unix skills to work for a Fintech business specializing in software for the trading industry. The role will be based in London where you will be a key contact for clients when reporting issues in relation to the trading product.

In this role you will need to have very strong comminution skills as your will be speaking to clients via phone and email frequently in order to track and monitor their issues with the software. It will be part of your role to preform analysis on the issues and come up with an action plan in order to resolve the issue. You will own issues that are assigned to you until resolution and work with teams within the business to ensure the issues are completed in a timely and efficient manner.

From a technical perspective you will need to have good knowledge of SQL and an understanding of databases and servers. You will be expected to perform basic installs on Oracle software and maintain support servers. This product runs on both Windows and UNIX so you will need to have familiarity with these operating systems as you will need to perform basic text editing and file manipulation.

Key Skills

Strong communication skills

Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills

Good knowledge of SQL

Understanding of Oracle Software and maintain support servers

Understanding of Windows and UNIX

Knowledge of financial services would be a huge plus but not essential
