SEO Specilaist - Camberley Surrey

The Off-Page SEO Specialist will be primarily responsible for executing actions that are extracted from backlink audits.

The key responsibilities of this role will include:

· Proactively and routinely audit the backlink profile of our websites.

· Prepare reports into the findings borne out of the backlink audits.

· Manually remove toxic links.

· Prepare & Submit disavow reports.

· Routinely audit and report on the backlink profile of our key competitors in priority markets

Key Competencies

· Excellent understanding of Off-Page SEO best practic.es

· Intermediate On-Page SEO, Local Search, Social & Paid Search knowledge

· Good understanding of search engine algorithms and their impact on the organic performance of websites.

· Use of 3rd party audit / SEO / Search tools to carry out backlink audits.

· Have an interest in current digital marketing trends & technologies and keep up to date with latest changes on the digital landscape

· Experience in MS Office (primarily Excel & Powerpoint) or Google Apps is essential.

· High level of attention to detail and a meticulous mind-set.

· Results oriented with an ability to work to tight timelines. Appetite for continuous learning and personal development.

Additional Competencies (advantageous but not essential)

· Previous link acquisition & clean-up experience.

· Appreciation of localised link building targeting location specific websites.

· A good understanding of how to boost search discoverability by harnessing the power of social media platforms (G+, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, LinkedIn, YouTube)

· Copywriting experience

Qualifications

Undergraduate degree or qualification in Marketing, IT or similar

This is a 3 month fixed term assignment - salary will be £25K pro-rata.
