Job Title - ETL Developer (Data Migration/SAP/ LSMW)

Location - Leicester, Leicestershire

Salary - £35,000 - £47,000 per annum + Excellent Benefits

Duration - Fixed Term Contract until end of August 2017

My client is currently undergoing a large scale core systems modernisation programme, the first of its kind, my client are looking for an experienced ETL Developer with expertise in data migration and LSMW scripts to join their migration team, undertaking the responsibility of writing high quality LSMW scripts as they migrate away from legacy systems to new target core systems.

Job Responsibilities

*To work within the ETL Framework, responsible for producing high quality LSMW scripts in order to migrate from legacy systems to new target systems.

*Develop technical solutions for data cleansing and enrichment during the migration process.

*Produce accurate documentation, detailing own development activities.

*Troubleshoot any issues to development, escalating to senior management when necessary.

*Maintain software quality at all times through test-driven development.

Essential Skills

*Demonstrable experience of writing LSMW scripts for migration projects.

*Full SDLC experience.

*ETL experience within a data migration environment.

*Knowledge of SAP systems, preferably HR and Payroll.

*Knowledge and expertise in SSIS and SQL.

*Knowledge and expertise of SAP ABAP.

*Understanding of software development methodologies.

*Strong analytical and problem solving mind set.

*Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
