Lead Developer (C#, Java, Scala, Node, Angular and React) - Edinburgh - £55,000

A rapidly expanding software consultancy are looking for a Development Team Lead (C#, Java, Scala, Node, Angular and React) to join their Edinburgh based 'luxury' offices. The business operate on a large-scale, having a global client base that they deliver bespoke, business-critical systems to. This role is integral to the growth of business and will play a central role on client project teams, overseeing all aspects of software delivery to deliver beyond expectations.

The role will heavily involve Greenfield work, offer the chance to work with some of the latest Microsoft technologies thus expanding your technical portfolio and the projects that you will be working on are within the £millions, most of which are confidential.

To qualify for this role you must be a hands on leader with a demonstrable passion for technology as the business are looking for a 'key contact' for specific clients. You will have free roam to use your own experience, professional approach and leadership style to focus on many aspects of a project, including emerging technology trends and development.

The business follow an Agile approach with solid development practices, using a wide range of modern technologies depending on the requirements of each project, including C#, Java, Scala, Node, Angular and React.

Requirements:

* A relevant university degree

* Strong commercial experience with enterprise-level systems

* Strong technical expertise in one or more of Java, C# .NET or HTML5 development

* Good technical design skills including, where appropriate, OO design principles and design patterns

* Experience of the full software development lifecycle and Agile/Scrum methodology

* The ability to adapt and learn new technologies on the job

* Experience of leading teams or managing client projects
