Network & Communications Engineer - Glasgow - £24-29k

My client, one of Scotland's most innovative and dynamic public sector bodies is looking to add to its highly skilled team by recruiting an IT Network/Telecommunications Engineer to be based in Glasgow.

Your new role

You will responsible for ensuring the availability and integrity of the organisations mobilising systems. You will be required to install, maintain and repair the communications systems and associated equipment. You will also research, develop and implement support of the businesses network infrastructure, including LAN's, WAN's mobilising, paging systems and telephony systems.

What you'll need to succeed

In order to be successful for this role you will ideally have a HNC/HND in Electronic Engineering or equivalent experience. It is essential you have detailed experience in relevant system technology, with knowledge of VHF/UHF radio, both repairing and configuring, voice communications, GD92 POCSAG paging, digital microwave, satellite communications and networking technologies. You will ideally be highly experienced with networking and hold a CCNA qualification.
