My client, a leading Analytics and Forecasting firm, are looking for a Software Developer to work out of their Edinburgh offices on a permanent basis.

The Software Developer will be responsible for conceiving, designing and building new software applications as well as understanding and innovating with our existing products.

The successful Software Developer will have the following:

- Extensive use of Python

- Knowledge and experience in any of the following technical areas would be beneficial: Django, MySQL, PostgreSQL, git, Linux, TDD, Leaflet, Flask, agile, GIS, TypeScript, AngularJS, jQuery, Dart, Nginx, Gunicorn, fabric, iOS, Java.

- Proven ability to create component/subsystem documentation.

- Detailed technical understanding of data and technical database design.

- Solid understanding of object-oriented design concepts and software development processes and methods.
