JDE - JD Edwards Applications Support Analyst - Central London
Our Client an international organisation with offices in Central London is urgently seeking to recruit a JDE - JD Edwards Applications Support Analyst.
You must have:
- At least 3 to 5 years solid experience of working with JD Edwards particularly version E8.12.
- Providing support to the Clients world-wide user community for all applications as required, especially to give advice and direction, recommend on-system and off-system solutions to issues, problem-solve and design and deliver work-flows to ensure best practice
- Ensuring that user issues are given a permanent resolution in the shortest possible time.
- Log and take ownership of support requests through to resolution or escalation, as appropriate
- Maintain excellent relationships with business users and other IT teams.
- Proactively engage in learning functionality of other business applications in order to effectively support user community
- Uphold and champion policies, procedures and standard within the Application Support team
- Uploading and downloading data from various sources in order to provide management analysis
- Provide ad-hoc user training for systems when required
- Ownership and completion of routine tasks such as Integrity checking and Z table uploads
- Creation and maintenance of user guides, procedures and process maps
- Opportunities to work on large projects and implementations
Skills / Competencies Required:
- Strong and proven JD Edwards experience in the Finance and/or Distribution modules, Inventory and Advanced Pricing are also an advantage
- A minimum of three years in a user support environment
- Fully conversant with Microsoft products, specifically Outlook, Excel, Word, Access and Powerpoint. Exposure to Project and Visio would be an advantage but are not essential
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate well with people at all levels of the organisation.
- A proven track record in the area of Customer Service
- The ability to work as part of team towards shared goals
The duration of the contract will be 3 to 6 months.
The rate is negotiable.
