I am currently working alongside a large software house based in Edinburgh who are looking to recruit a Full stack .NET Developer to join their ever growing team.

The role is an incredible opportunity for a Developer to take the next step in their career. This is a senior role which has incredible scope for career progression. The client is looking to hire a developer that has a fantastic handle on the .NET stack, including MVC, ASP.NET and C#. The role offers a very competitive salary in the current market.

What you will do:

*Working in an Agile (Scrum) delivery style

*Produce quality code and supporting unit tests.

*Working with the Architect and other members of the Scrum team to refine and implement the proposed architectural design.

*Maintaining the quality of code & development practices within their project team via Peer Code Reviews by providing constructive feedback.

*Work with the Scrum team to innovate and improve our delivery process.

*Working directly with client stakeholders + Product Owner to refine requirements

*Debugging as needed to produce quality code

*Be a team player - support other team members in solving problems and developing features. There is no 'I' in Scrum.

*Help to build and improve the tools and processes available to the development team (continuous integration, case/bug tracking, version control, automation)

Essential Skills:

*Strong front-end UI development experience of n-tiered web-based applications using HTML, Advanced JavaScript, ASP.Net MVC/Web API, SQL and CSS.

*Strong commercial experience developing AngularJS.

*ASP.NET MVC 4 and Web API

*Extensive professional experience delivering C#, ASP.NET, MVC web applications with examples of completed work / projects for a senior role.

*Proficiency in software design & development principles such as SOLID, Domain-

Driven-Design and Object Oriented Development.

*Experience delivering solutions to a Microsoft Azure environment.

*A thorough understanding of writing secure code.

*Knowledge of Test Driven Development

*Experience with ORM frameworks, particularly Entity Framework

*Knowledge of source code management with Git, including GitFlow Workflow.
