Your New Company

You will be joining a fast-growing, IT/Marketing driven company based in the Bournemouth area. The organisation is immediately seeking a Website Designer with experience of working with front end development skills.

You must provide a portfolio to be considered for this role and must have experience working with well known / big name brands.

Your New Role

You will be working on a range of projects and will be reporting directly to the Digital Director to play a pivotal role in creating high quality site builds for clients.

You'll have autonomy and will control liaisons with clients and will be expected to provide thought leadership to other junior employees. The business has an pipeline of work that's bursting at the seams and they will be growing the team further in 2017.

The environment is perfect for someone who is self-motivated, wants access to a variety of tech/tools/project work and who would thrive in a small, friendly team where everyone works together to meet deadlines as they feel valued.

What you'll need to succeed

It is essential that you have previous commercial experience building websites in an agency environment for big name / well known / national brands.

. You'll believe that usability, rather than utility, determines the success of a website and you'll be proficient with design patterns, grid based layout designs and style guides.

Further essential technical experience include hand coded HTML5/CSS, knowledge of JavaScript/ jQuery and experience working on CMS builds. You will be proficient with the Adobe creative suite.

You should naturally further your knowledge outside of work and see this as a passion not just a job. Given this you'll be expected to talk through previous project work at interview and know that any designer worth their salt will have a portfolio ready to display.
