Contracts Manager / Trainee Contracts Manager - Engineering Solutions 

Glasgow (office/field based covering Central Scotland) 

£25,000 - £50,000 DOE Plus Company Bonus Scheme, Company Car, Pension, Benefits Scheme

Our client is an Industrial Engineering Services Group that provides turnkey engineering solutions to customers across the UK. They are now looking for a Contracts Manager/Trainee Contracts Manager to join their team in Glasgow.

As the Contracts Manager / Trainee Contracts Manager, you will be responsible for planning the end-to-end delivery of our client’s engineering contracts. 

Visiting sites throughout Central Scotland, you will assess how to install or move customers’ heavy equipment and provide them with accurate quotations. 

Additionally, you’ll complete site surveys and inspections, interpret requirements and work closely with the Operations Team regarding resource allocation.

To be considered for this role, you must: 

- Have previous experience in the planning and management of machinery and load moving, handling and lifting projects in either construction, manufacturing, or engineering environments 

- Be competent in assessing sites in construction, engineering and manufacturing environments, ideally in a supervisory or management capacity

- Have a full, valid driving licence 

Please note, our client is also keen to hear from established contracts managers looking for a fresh, new challenge.  

The ideal Contracts Manager / Trainee Contracts Manager will hold a CPCS Appointed Person qualification. An understanding of estimating and commercial and contractual awareness would also be beneficial.
