An industry leading producer of essential active pharmaceutical ingredients for the healthcare industry is looking to recruit a Validation Engineer to support in all aspects of product and equipment transfer at their newly established production facility in the South West of Scotland.

This long standing business has a market leading reputation within its field and, following large-scale investment, is now in the process of revolutionising existing capabilities whilst introducing new machinery and processes to grow the facility and expand their market footprint.

The Validation Engineer will be essential in the remap and scale up of the site, and heavily involved in the commissioning and qualification of existing and new equipment. The critical importance of the position is to ensure that the plant is set up to comply with MHRA regulation by introducing site protocol. This will be a hands-on, challenging role that will see the Validation Engineer involved in all aspects of product transfer from a sister company to manufacture in greater volumes. The main business aim is to bring the site up to current GMP requirements with a view to beginning large scale commercial manufacturing by 2019.

To be eligible for this position it will be essential for you to have experience of qualifying and commissioning plant equipment within a current GMP environment.
