2nd Line Support / Second Line Support / Service Desk Analyst / Initial 3 Month Contract / £135 / Edinburgh.
Spring Technology is currently recruiting for a 2nd Line Support / Service Desk Analyst to join a nationally recognised organisation in Edinburgh for an initial 3 month contract.
This Role is looking to start on Wednesday the 28th of December.
The Role:
1.As a 2nd Line Support you will sit within the IT department and deal with issues passed on from 1st line. Also, you will be taking part in a Desktop upgrade, including taking old terminals out and installing new software's, along with providing support on emails and terminal queries. This will include Installs/upgrades desk-top systems & advice on updates etc.
Essential Skills:
*At least 18 months experience within an IT 1st and 2nd Line role
*Experience using Windows and other basic Microsoft software's
*Expert knowledge of Windows 7/8.1 OS, MS Office 2010 products and resolving customer problems through the application of effective solutions.
*Experience of Active Directory, Windows Server 2008/2012, Terminal Services, Thin Client, VPN, MS Exchange 2010 administration, SCCM, Windows 7/8.1 troubleshooting Supporting Tablet users, Laptop/Desktop Hardware fault diagnosis.
*Planning, organising, and prioritising day to day tasks to deliver services on time and to agreed service outcomes.
*Excellent team working, communication and interpersonal skills.
