Credit Risk Assistant Manager - Central Edinburgh

A new senior analytics role has arisen within a company offering excellent progression opportunities within Banking and IT.

My client is a rapidly growing retail bank with offices throughout the UK. They are seeking an ambitious individual to joint their risk oversight function on a permanent staff basis as a Credit Risk Assistant Manager.

The Credit Risk Assistant Manager will assist management with sampling data and analytics work across all lending portfolios and some fraud analytics, to ensure accuracy and to highlight errors. They will enjoy a rare to both to conduct hands-on sampling and analytics whilst developing stakeholder management skills, as they will be dealing with staff at all levels within each portfolio, reporting into senior management and CRO, and external stakeholders such as referencing agencies.

Ideally my client is seeking somebody with a background in credit risk, risk oversight or risk modelling, with some technical analytics skills in SAS or SQL, who wishes to make a move into a role that gives more responsibility and the ability to challenge decision making in others in order to improve current processes and performance.
