Technical Services Consultant / Account Manager 

Cambridge, Cambridgeshire

Our client has developed a range of innovative website solutions for contact centres and customer-focused businesses. They are now looking for a Technical Services Consultant / Account Manager to join their team. 

As a Technical Services Consultant / Account Manager, you will play a vital role in the sale, implementation and ongoing account management of our client’s cloud-based solutions. 

This role is perfect for a web-savvy, customer focused individual who is seeking variety, challenge and the chance to work with some leading edge solutions.

You’ll be taking part in the full lifecycle of projects, playing a hands-on role from the point of sale, through to delivery of the solution and the associated account management. 

An additional and major part of your role will involve identifying areas of growth within customer organisations and creating and maintaining strong relationships with customers. 

Due to the customer facing elements of this role, you will be required to undertake occasional travel. 

On a day-to-day basis, your role will include: 

- Creating and formulating solutions using customer requirements and drivers 

- Delivering projects on time and to budget 

- Ensuring customers are happy through effective account management 

- Creating and maintaining relevant documentation 

- Conducting training sessions 

- Liaising with internal and external stakeholders regarding the implementation of solutions

Interested? To be considered, you must have: 

- At least two years’ experience in a customer-facing or account management role 

- Experience of working with web technologies 

- Experience of managing multiple projects 

- A full driving licence 

Results-oriented and communicative, as a Technical Services Consultant / Account Manager, you’ll also need a positive, can-do attitude and a proactive and eager approach. A highly organised outlook is key, as are strong presentation abilities. 

A PRINCE2 qualification would be beneficial to your application. Extensive knowledge of web technologies including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, Responsive Design and API integration would also be advantageous. Experience of working within a SaaS organisation, or in the knowledge management market would be equally favourable.
