Cloud Developer - Edinburgh

IC-Resources are currently looking for an experienced Cloud Computing Engineer for our rapidly expanding client based in Edinburgh. This is an exciting opportunity to join a rapidly growing Tech company who are currently expanding into China and the US and you will be playing a key role in the success of the company.

Essential Skills/experience required:

*Degree in computer science or equivalent topics.

*Previous Experience working with cloud computing systems.

*Demonstrable knowledge in distributed systems, e.g., Spark, Storm, Cassandra or Hadoop.

*Strong analytical and problem solving skills.

*Solid software development skills, preferably in Java.

Desirable skills also include:

* Knowledge of Big Data/ NoSQL

* System admin in Linux.

* Good knowledge of systems administration

* Continuous integration skills

* Previous experience with development of web services/APIs.
