Node JS Developer Node JS Developers are required by a digital strategy start-up that is currently partnered with one of the UK's leading Retail Banks. You will join the business as one of the founding Node JS Developers, and will therefore have the opportunity to help shape the practice going forward. In your role, you will work as a trusted partner to their FinTech clients, and in your main project currently you will be tasked with building out new digital banking apps from Greenfield.

This involves working across multiple retail banking business areas, predominantly utilising Node JS.

Key skills

Node JS with any other JavaScript frameworks coming in handy

Various OO languages i.e. Java, C#, Ruby etc. (a polyglot attitude would suit the environment)

Experience working in an Agile environment DevOps skills i.e. an understanding of continuous integration using tools such as Docker, Ansible, Chef, Puppet etc.

An aptitude for testing having used methods such as TDD before

The business itself on working with large corporate enterprises, helping them change to become a more digitally enabled business. As a Node JS Developer you will be implementing DevOps practices, driving TDD and helping their clients build software more efficiently and effectively, embracing modern practices. The successful Node JS Developers will be given 1/3rd of their time to research new technologies, to help ensure that they are the bleeding edge of technology, and you would be expected to positively contribute to this.

Therefore, this role would be perfectly suited to a Node JS Developer who enjoys learning new technologies/ R&D and working as a part of a small, cross functional, agile team. The details This is a perm hire, and you would be ideally someone who wants to help build this business from the ground up
