Senior Software Developer to lead 3D teamAs a Senior Software Engineer Team Leader you will be responsible for guiding this well established business as they continue their transition from Flash to 3D Games. Established in the 90’s they have built a successful niche market and have received many accolades for the quality of their products. Their product is widely distributed in the UK and is used by over 20,000 organisations in the US.
You will be leading a team of 4 or 5 developers and will be operating in a hands on role. Their 3D technology is based on Unity, that communicates with an extensive cloud service (based on RoR, Scala etc). They publish to WebGL and all the major app platforms and operate an agile methodology.
Set in the vibrant City of Edinburgh applications from candidates looking to relocate are welcome.
Requirements
A 2.1 or 1st class honours degree in computing, science or technology from a Russel group university (or equivalent).
A minimum of 2 years coding experience in a commercial environment.
Experience of software design and architecture.
Leadership experience or qualities.
A thirst for knowledge.
You also need the drive, flexibility and determination to succeed as part of a dynamic team.
Ideally, you have experience in:
3D coding
3D development as a whole.
Location: Edinburgh
Salary: £50,000 - £60,000
39 hour week with flexitime
