Business Analyst / Project Manager

A new opportunity has arisen for a hybrid Business Analyst / Project Manager to join a Boutique Investment Bank / Financial Services company based in the city of London. This company provides specialised investment banking services and expert insights in the Capital Markets space, and they have a global presence with offices in London, New York and Hong Kong to name a few. As a Business Analyst / Project Manager, you will work on a variety of IT projects relating to the company's Securities and Capital Markets business, including system enhancements and Greenfield projects on a variety of platforms (including front to back trading systems).

About the Job:

As a Business Analyst / Project Manager, you will be responsible for the following:

* Working closely with colleagues in front, middle and back office as well as 3rd party vendors, and acting as the main interface between the business and Development team (who use C++ / SQL Server technologies)

* Determining business requirements then translating to technical specifications / functional designs for the Development team to implement.

* Working across the entire Software / Project Lifecycle on full trade lifecycle projects

* Working across multiple asset classes with various financial instruments focusing on the following; Securities, Capital Markets, Derivatives, Equities and Fixed Income.

About You

Successful candidates will have:

* Experience working as a Business Analyst / Project Manager within financial services

* Excellent experience and knowledge of front, middle, and back office trading systems.

* Good Business Knowledge of Fixed Income, Equities, and Capital Markets is highly advantageous
