Role: Senior Software Engineer
Salary: £38,000 - £48,000
Location: Birmingham
The Opportunity:
An opportunity has presented itself for a Senior Software Engineer with my client based in Birmingham, joining small dedicated team, you will have the chance to learn new skills working with new technologies at the forefront of the automotive sector.
The Role:
You will be working within the automotive sector developing software which will interface with vehicle communication networks (CAN / CANbus) for automotive OEMs. You will be responsible for the full software lifecycle development, concept, specification, analysis, design, implementation and test.
Key Skills Required in the Senior Software Engineer:
- Strong Embedded C OR C++ software development (ideally with MISRA)
- Microcontroller development (ideally Renesas 32-bit)
Highly Desirable:
- Developing software through full software development lifecycle
- Developing RTOS for embedded systems
- Developing Safety-Critical Software or for ECU's
- Knowledge of MATLAB, Simulink and Stateflow beneficial

The Rewards:
Outside of the new challenges you will face at work and training, my client is offering salary ranging from £38,000 - £48,000, a generous pension scheme, flexible working, healthcare 25 days annual leave.
