Embedded Software Tester - Contract - East Midlands

My market leading client, based in the East Midlands, has an excellent new contract opening for an experienced Embedded Software Test Engineer. Whilst an initial 1 month post, extensions are highly likely.

Candidates should be able to manually test embedded C on bespoke hardware (i.e. not just automated testing, all on a PC). Matlab experience would be a plus, as would the ability to write small Python scripts for e.g. sending control messages to a device over a serial link.

Day-to-day work will involve low-power embedded circuits, running on ARM microcontrollers, with Bluetooth connectivity.

Market rates.

Start date 9th January.
