Job Specification
The Customer Services System Analyst is responsible for:
* the support and management of change for the "Rentals" module of the AX ERP application;
* the support and management of change for the "Sales and Marketing" module of the AX ERP
application;
* the support and administration of AX ERP Application security roles;
* testing of code fixes in several environments during the release cycles;
* delivery of training to business users as and when required;
* sorting the requirements of the business and liaising with stakeholders whether to proceed or
provide workarounds for;
* administering the configuration of AX ERP Application to ensure business requirements are met as
well as advise on the impact of changing business policy;
* collaborating with project stakeholders at all levels to understand their problems and capture, define
and agree business requirements, business workflows and system requirements.
Principal Accountabilities
* System Analyst provides 1st and 2nd Line Helpdesk Support for the Global AX ERP System.
* System Analyst advises AX ERP stakeholders on ways to make ERP related business processes
more efficient and productive.
* System Analyst provides initial analysis of "business needs" for proposed changes to the ERP and
preparation of cost / benefit justification of the cost of associated system changes.
* In tandem with stakeholders and Business Systems Team Members, System Analyst is responsible
for management and delivery of the complete "Software Development Life Cycle" of associated
system changes - working with third party support & partner vendors as directed by Central IT
Management.
Qualifications and Experience
* Preferably educated to degree level or equivalent;
* Excellent oral and written communication skills;
* Process Mapping & Requirements Elicitation skills;
* Experience in Master Data Management & Governance;
* Proven problem solving skills;
* Experience in providing training and facilition;
* Strong stakeholder management, conflict management and business prioritisation skills;
* Able to remain calm and reasoned under pressure, customer focused;
* Broad IT business system / application experience at Super User level or above;
* Minimum 2 years Oil & Gas "Equipment Rental" experience, working directly with the customer
facing team.
