Agile Project Manager, Software, Digital, Kanban, TDD, Banking, Web Agile Project Manager, Software, Digital, Kanban, TDD, Banking, Web - My client is a banking digital consultancy based in Edinburgh city centre, and they require the services of an experienced Agile Project Manager.

This is a permanent VP level role, salary c£90-95k

You will be joining an Agile team of highly skilled professionals and will play a positive part in selecting the best solutions/technology for the project. You will work as part of a highly collaborative, cross-functional, agile product development team to develop a new responsive web application from the ground up. And you will ideally have a development background within the publishing, media, agency or modern banking sectors and will have delivered big customer facing website projects with an agile focus. This is a great opportunity to work with a market leader on what is going to be a very exciting project.

Key Accountabilities; - Stakeholder management - Proactively communicate to all stakeholders with up to date, relevant information on progress risks; issues; etc. - Identify and continuously adjust the appropriate blend of resources to meet project needs and requirements. - Work closely with software development leads to efficiently produce accurate estimates and schedules. - Define, document, structure, prioritize and schedule work items, and ensure that the planned work meets the project goals. - Evangelize agile methodology and practice. Coach and advise project team members to more efficiently accomplish project goals and to resolve technical or operational issues. - Identify scrum masters/technical leaders within project teams and support them to succeed. - Facilitate agile ceremonies, including retrospectives; showcases; etc. and extract actionable items where appropriate.

Skills / Experience; - You will be an advocate of working in an agile environment and have experience in the following areas; Scrum, Kanban, TDD, BDD. - Deep knowledge and experience of agile, iterative and incremental software delivery methodologies. - You will ideally have a development background within the publishing, media, agency or modern banking sectors and will have delivered big customer facing website projects with an agile focus. - Experience of working successfully with development teams to deliver bespoke software. - A positive approach with an emphasis on collaboration and good execution. - Ability to get buy-in and resolve conflicts when working with business stakeholders. - In-depth understanding of the software development lifecycle. - Ability to make decisions and solve problems while maintaining a human approach to leadership. - Sound technical understanding of website architecture and good understanding of common industry issues. - Ability to facilitate discussions about technology, technical resolutions and architectural concerns.
