Enigma People Solutions is currently on the lookout for a Senior System Developer, to work on a range of interesting web and technical projects. Responsibilities

Communicating and delivering technical, web and mobile solutions to specification and within required timescales, within the department, directorate and business as a whole, to ensure corporate objectives are met.

Providing accurate and timely updates to project managers on the status of development tasks and phases, and ensuring risks and issues are communicated in a timely and effective manner, to ensure projects can be managed appropriately.

Accurately defining the required components as part of any web application deployment to ensure that the web infrastructure team can effectively deploy the application, minimising service disruption and downtime.

Supporting the Head of Digital Development & Delivery and Development Manager in implementing appropriate web and software development best practice techniques and processes across the department.

Desired Skills

Proven track in developing a range of web sites, applications and solutions using open source languages

Experience building web sites integrated with enterprise content management system (CMS) platforms.

Proven and demonstrable experience working with databases and web service driven web applications.

Understanding and exposure to mobile web application development.
