Business Analyst

Location: Glasgow

Type: Contract

Duration: initial 6 months (possibility to extend)

Rate: £350-450

Start Date: ASAP

Spring Technology are currently seeking an experienced IT Business Analyst to join a leading organisation based in the centre of Glasgow. Working within the IT function, the Business Analyst will liaise between technical and non-technical key stakeholders, the end user and the development team to deliver key IT solutions to the business.

The Role

The Business Analyst will act as the key link between the IT technical and development teams and the business as a whole. You will be responsible for gathering requirements through a variety of sources and critically evaluate information gathered. You will proactively communicate and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to analyse information and the deliver the required documentation.

Requirements

The successful candidate will have the following skills and experience:

*Strong background in Systems Analysis / Business Analysis

*Track record of working on multi-faceted deliveries across a number of business areas

*Good organisation and project skills

*Recognised Business Analysis qualifications would be highly advantageous

*Strong analytical skills

*Data analysis and mapping skills

*Understanding of Agile development methodologies
