Technical Project Manager

Location: Glasgow

Type: Contract

Duration: initial 6 months (possibility to extend)

Rate: £350-450

Start Date: ASAP

Spring Technology are currently seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager to join a leading organisation based in the centre of Glasgow.

The Role

Reporting into the IT Director, you will manage a small project team working on a new development programme. You will responsible for producing and maintaining detailed project plans, RAID logs etc. You will manage the communication with internal and external stakeholders and liaise with IT service providers to define, document and achieve deliverables.

Requirements

The successful candidate will have the following skills and experience:

*Track record of successfully managing a portfolio of projects running simultaneously

*Wide range of technical competence gained from managing of diverse set of projects

*Significant experience of commissioning new sites

*Experience developing then implementing project controls, frameworks and governance processes

*Excellent both written and verbal communication skills

*Strong interpersonal and leadership skills

*Ability to plan and manage workload

*Prince 2 qualification or equivalent
