An exciting role for a Web Designer has arisen to work for a renowned retailer near Hull which has proven to be a local success story. You will be working closely with the Senior Web Designer and Marketing team to develop the online brand identity for the company, creating one of a kind designs which fit with the overall brand and creative position. This opportunity is not to be missed if you are someone who wants to grow in tandem with a successful company and can showcase skills in Design. We are on the look out for a Web Designer who is focused on furthering our company's experience across all of our digital channels. You must be able to understand, translate and deliver briefs to deadline so the ability to work under pressure and on a tight schedule is a MUST! You should be full of ideas ready and waiting to contribute innovative designs to ensure our online brand experience continues to evolve. With a passion for design and a strong interest in eCommerce. Digital innovation and pixel perfection will be at the core of your role here. You will cover all aspects of Digital Marketing activity, designing emailing marketing communications within the ecommerce team, as well as all website assets, including overall page design as well as homepage, category and promotional banners. Keeping up to date with the latest design technology in the digital world ensuring our digital design is current and always one step ahead of our competitors. You will also have the opportunity to work with the wider creative team on projects such as catalogues, blog posts and brand newspapers translating marketing collateral to digital assets for use online.

WE NEED YOU TO HAVE…

* The ability to work on a Mac and use Microsoft Office

* Excellent knowledge of HTML, CSS, Adobe Creative Suite, JQuery

* Qualification in Web Design/Web Technology

* The ability to take design through to final/print ready files

* An understanding of CSS pre-processors

* A problem solver a go getter with excellent communications skills and the ability to manage own workload

* Interest in Digital and eCommerce trends
