Due to a promotion an opportunity has arisen to join a busy support environment as IT Support Engineer. This role will form a part of an active Operations Team responsible for managing the IT infrastructure across Cambridge Assessment. The Operations Team is instrumental in developing, implementing and maintaining controls over the physical Data Centre environments.

Working in a dynamic, supportive environment with a "can do" culture, you will be encouraged to develop your skills and gain a wide experience in many leading-edge technologies. Sound technical skills are essential as are excellent communication skills with the ability to deal with both technical and business users.

You must be self-motivated, results driven and focused on delivering high quality Customer Service.

The ability to work under pressure and take ownership of problems are key elements of the role, along with good technical problem solving skills.

You should be able to demonstrate a good understanding of server and storage technologies, Operating Systems and Network Infrastructure.

The ability to utilise GUI’s and command line inputs for server diagnostics and maintenance activities would be advantageous.
