We have a new and exclusive opportunity for a Senior Java developer/ Senior Java software engineer to join my financial services business based in fleet Hampshire.
As the Senior Java developer/ Senior Java software engineer, you will be joining an award winning team who bring agile and scrum methodology throughout the business. This is part of the payments business which is one of the key areas for this bank, as your java development skills will be highly valued from day one.
We need a strong Senior Java developer/ Senior Java software engineer with strong core server side java development skills. Any experience in a scrum/ agile environment will be highly beneficial as this java development team team working in scrum teams of 8.
As the Senior Java developer/ Senior Java software engineer, you will be responsible for the day to day development in an Agile SCRUM Development Team including estimation, design, development and testing as well as representing the team to internal and external stakeholders where required.
* You will need to come with Strong commercial experience as a Software Developer, developing in Java in a commercial environment with a proven track record of success.

* Experience in multi-threaded high volume application development
* JBoss6
* Web Services (SOAP, REST)
* XML (JAXB)
* Any SQL Database (Oracle preferred)
* Unit testing
* Automated Testing
* Maven/Gradle/Ant
* Experience of developing in the Agile methodology familiarity with SCRUM methodology
