Our MOD client are currently looking for a Project Approvals /Risk Support to work on an 11 month contract at their site in Corsham.

Applicants must have all of the following skills in order to be considered:

*Skills in Project Level Scheduling and Schedule Risk Analysis

*Skills in Project Level Risk Management and Risk Analysis

*Skills in Project Level Benefits Analysis and Options Analysis

*Skills in good communication and stakeholder management

*Experience of developing business cases in line with HM Treasury Green Book

*Experience and understanding of agile application development projects

*Experience and understanding of service delivery architecture and ITIL

*Experience of working across government departments

*Experience of supplier bid evaluation and contract negotiation

*SS and JFC Approvals Process experience

*Experience in managing projects through PRINCE2 and or APM

The successful applicant will be responsible for the following tasks:

Ensure approvals activities are delivered to time, including artefacts for Main Gate Business Cases.

Provide cover for Project Manager when out of office.

Report weekly to PM and attend OGD project meetings as required.

Procurement and MGBC activities include:

Create Delivery Phase Risk Adjusted Schedules

* Conduct monthly Risk & MDAL reviews and update Active Risk Manager

* Review artefacts produced by team

* Align Procurement Strategy to BEIS approach

* Provide bid evaluation input / SME in negotiations

* Populate Support Solutions Delivery Tool & obtain Support Solutions Review Report

* Produce MGBC including Risk Section/Annex, Benefits Analysis
