Electronic Design Engineer - Edinburgh
Based in Edinburgh the Electronics Design Engineer will be joining a team focused on Imaging technology and responsible for the development of the hardware platforms required by applications, product, test and characterisation.
The Electronics Design Engineer will be responsible to define and develop robust and flexible hardware solutions involving high speed Image capture solutions and lighting controls, the hardware engineer will focus on Hardware Board Design, FPGA Design / Development and PCB Design. Other responsibilities will involve hardware support on existing designs and hardware test.
The successful candidate will have a good relevant degree along with some of the following experience
*Digital and Analogue board Design
*FPGA Design, VHDL/Verilog
*Schematic capture tools
*Knowledge of PCB Layout/tracking rules for Signal Integrity
*Embedded Design with C / C++
