Enigma People Solutions is delighted to be recruiting an Edinburgh based Firmware Engineer. Our internationally recognised client leads the market in non volatile storage solutions. Ideally, the client would like a versatile and experienced firmware engineer. You will take responsibility for everything from coding to automated testing, debugging and triaging firmware bugs.

To be considered for this role, you will be able to demonstrate the following essential qualities:

Strong hands-on C/C++ knowledge

Strong hands-on scripting knowledge

Strong software/firmware debug and triage skills

Strong communication skills to handle multi-site global work environment

Familiarity and past work experience/coding for embedded processors such as ARM, ARC, Tensilica, Power PC etc.

Desirable attributes include:

3-5 years of Software/Firmware development

3-5 years of experience in storage industry or comparable

2 years of software/firmware testing experience

Past history and familiarity with Software automation and automated test environments such as Jenkins highly desirable
