Within Sky News, there have been changes to their software/ processes and there is a need for a PM to coordinate and facilitate the delivery of training to 400 staff within Sky News whereby the changes affect. All this must happen whilst keeping news on air. The PM will be responsible for planning, implementation and execution, and testing to ensure the training has been successful.

You must be a hands on individual, as although you are not delivering the training, you must understand the content being delivered in order to test if delivery has been successful at the other end.

We are looking for someone with prior exposure to broadcast environment.

Role - Key objectives

· Devising an effective training plan for Sky Newsroom Users - working with staff to create and deliver a variety of packages and materials

· Assessing the success of staff training to ensure user competency is measured, known and where necessary strengthened - feeding into wider operational readiness assessments

· Overseeing the management and administration of user training schedules with Newsroom rota teams

· Working closely with Work Place Technology and Migration Team Leaders to ensure we are ready to move into Studios - kit and technology and operations

Skills/Comps

· Experience in delivering staff training plans as part of a medium to large change programme involving new systems and ways of working

· Ability to manage and work with all levels of staff and management

· Pro-active

· Good attention to detail

· Good communicator with excellent people skills

· Have a Change management and or PM qualification

· Prior exposure to media/broadcast environment advantageous
