As a Sheet Metal Worker in our manufacturing environment, you will become a key member of our production process. This is your chance to be involved in marking out sections of material by following engineering drawings and instructions, in addition to shaping and cutting-out sections using a combination of hand tools and computer-controlled machines, including presses and rollers. This role will require successful candidates to work a Multi-shift pattern (including nights).

Key Accountabilities:

* Finishing items with various tools including grinders and polishers.

* Assembling sections, using riveting, welding and bolting methods, depending on the area of the Company you are working in.

* Maintaining our excellent quality standards, as being an integral part of our manufacturing process

* The role will require you to work to tight tolerances, experience of this will need to be demonstrated at interview.

Qualifications:

* City and Guilds Level 3 or NVQ Level 3 qualifications or equivalent.

* Professional and flexible attitude, with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively at all levels.

* Self-motivation, with the ability to work on your own initiative or as part of a team.

* Understanding of how to maintain a clean and safe environment in the workplace and how to work to set deadlines to achieve performance targets.

* Up-to-date working knowledge of health, safety (including COSHH) and environmental procedures.
