Excellent opportunity for a Software engineer to join a company that will offer you a technically challenging role where you can develop your skill sets.

This multinational company specialise in the design and manufacture of a range of vending equipment. They are currently in the process of developing a variety of new products and expanding into new territories and as such have created a position for an engineer to come in and assist in the development of their product range.

This position will be involved in full lifecycle embedded software development in following an agile methodology using Scrum, utilizing and building skills in software architecture and requirements analysis; object oriented analysis & design; embedded software development primarily in C++; unit and integration testing; and ongoing support and maintenance, including bugfixes of existing software.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in computer science and have experience in a software development role.

This is a great role for a company where you will play a major role in the development of exciting new products for the vending industry.

The role:

*Work with engineering and product managers to collect requirements for new products or features for existing products.

*Use case driven object oriented analysis and design, translating requirements into designs that can then be implemented in software. Includes analysis and support for all positive and negative scenarios.

*Design and development of high quality embedded software, primarily for coffee vending machines.

*Software and systems integration.

*Perform unit testing of the code and integration testing with other features and products within the system

*Work closely with the team leader and / or program management, other engineering disciplines and manufacturing to ensure products and DFM goals are met

*Ensure technical knowledge and understanding of available products, systems and services is maintained at the highest level.

The Person:

*Ideally have a degree in computer science or a similar fields.

*Software development experience.

*Have experience using C or C++.

*Familiar with Linux or UNIX based systems.
