Using groundbreaking technology, Seadrill is one of the world’s most modern offshore deepwater drilling companies. Operating in 15 countries across five continents, we employ some 5,000 people representing 65 nationalities. Over the last two years we have strengthened our global IT Function and centralised our specialists in Liverpool. Now we need someone with the ability to translate the IT requirements of our Accounting and Finance functions into solutions - and make those solutions happen.

Join us at this time of rapid transformation and growth and you will have the chance to make a real difference to the business. You’ll work closely with the Chief Accounting Officer, Chief Finance Officer and other leaders to drive business improvement through the implementation of a clear IT Finance strategy for the organisation. As we embed our Shared Service Centre into Liverpool, you will play your part in multiple projects aimed at driving efficiency through use of key applications such as Oracle and Hyperion. Your remit will also include Treasury, Tax, Audit, Investor Relations, and Compliance.

You’ll come to us with strong IT finance experience preferably from within our sector and be used to working in a fast-paced delivery environment. This, together with your expertise in Oracle Financials, Oracle Data Integrator, Hyperion and exposure to Oracle Business Intelligence (OBIEE and OBIA), will give you the confidence and credibility to engage with and influence stakeholders at the highest level. Passionate about delivery and with a global mindset, you will have the strong project management and organisational skills to keep up with our pace of development and achieve aggressive goals.
