Job Title: Mid-Level Developer

Location: Whiteley near Fareham, Hampshire

Salary: £20,000 to £30,000 depending on experience and subject to satisfactory completion of six months' probationary period.

The company develops and deploys high technology solutions in the security field, focused on the company's innovative biometric identity management system (which uses finger vein imagery).

Job Role:

As a developer on the FastVein team, you will help customise and develop the FastVein application to client specific requirements. You'll work as part of our small team in Whiteley (near Fareham, Hampshire) playing a leading role helping develop the software system. As the team grows you'll be responsible for supervision and development of associates. The role will involve plenty of opportunities to expand your knowledge and skillset.

The company is looking for an enthusiastic C# and/or Ruby on rails web application developer with demonstrable programming skill and knowledge. You'll be a dependable performer able to prioritise and manage development workload. You will be passionate about development and enjoy coding. You'll have experience of some of these technologies/skills:

* C#, C++.

* Ruby on Rails.

* HTML, CSS, Javascript and front-end web skills.

* Understanding of database technologies (MSSQL, MySQL, SQLITE).

* Mobile development.

* Good basic analysis, design and problem solving skills.

* Excellent communication skills.

If you have good programming experience and are looking for a new challenge, please get in touch. If you can share and discuss a portfolio or examples of your work, either self-taught or at University level that would be beneficial. Some onsite activities with customers will be involved so a full driving license is desirable but not essential.
