WPF, C#, MVVM, Dependency Injection, Software Developer, £350/£380/day, 3months Nottingham

I am currently recruiting for a C# WPF developer for an energy and utility company in Nottingham.

My client is a leading force in its field and are looking to grow their team by taking on a WPF developer with excellent C# abilities for an initial 3 month period but past contracts have typically extended by at least another 6 months. The standard rate is £350/day but they could pay more for the ideal candidate.

The right .NET developer will be well versed in WCF, MVVM, Prism and will be experienced with dependency injection. The C#, WPF contractor in question will be joining the client's solution architecture team. Meaning they must be able to contribute new ideas and creative solutions to an experienced team and offer fresh techniques.

The right developer will have the following:

* Excellent and varied WPF experience including exposure with Object Orientated techniques

* Very Strong C# programing ability

* Knowledge and experience using WCF

* Experience using MVVM design pattern.

* A comprehensive understanding of dependency injection and Test Driven Design

It would be useful if they had the following:

* Experience with XML

* Past exposure to PRISM framework

* Worked with the most recent forms of C# versions 3.5 /4.0 and above

* A good understanding of TDD

This role offers the chance for a contract WPF, C# software developer to work with a leading energy and utility company with excellent transport links in Nottingham for a 3 month basis, with a good chance of being extended. They are offering to pay £350/day but this is dependent on experience.
