The company is looking to recruit a Wholesale Operations Systems Trainer to join their team in Hatfield.

Job Role:

Develop, maintain and deliver training courses for the primary specialist business systems used within Wholesale Operations business unit in the company. The primary systems include a tailored implementation of IBM Maximo and associated mobile Anywhere system, Mobile GIS, Mobile Devices.

Takes responsibility for the development of all training materials, course design and delivery. Will both deliver courses and call in external resource as necessary to meet peaks in training demand. Create best practice training capability with a sustainable approach to ensure knowledge is maintained within the business.

Key Responsibilities:

* To consult with the operational management and Business Systems colleagues on the training requirements and target trainees and the design of appropriate courses and materials to meet those needs

* Continually review, design and adapt training courses and materials for the primary applications. Where possible re-use proven courses and further develop existing materials.

* Seek opportunities to provide innovative training solutions.

* Support team members on an ongoing basis to identify and resolve knowledge gaps with an appropriate training intervention.

* Research and understand the business processes that are impacted by the primary business systems and deliver high level process training.

* Ensure that the necessary preparation for training has been done, including provision of environment, systems, materials.

* Deliver training courses to identified trainees

* Develop a set of local user champions as advanced users in each community so that they can support the cascade of training and maintain competence in that community.

* Ensure that feedback is obtained from each course delegate as the basis for continuous improvement.

* Maintain a register of training requirements and agree training course delivery schedule with operational managers.

* Ensure that peaks in training demand are identified and provision for additional training resource is procured.

* Work with Learning and Development team, aligning strategy and approach.

Key Capabilities:

* Have experience of developing and delivering system & process related training materials and courses.

* Ability to manage and maintain enthusiasm, discipline and interest in a class room setting.

* Familiarity of delivering training to community based teams

* Have experience of delivering works management systems training

* To deliver training on time and on budget

* To provide a positive customer experience through.(Service Improvement Mechanism, Net Promoter Score)

* Delivers performance targets and goals.

* Compliance with all regulatory requirements, legal obligations and operational procedures.
