At the Office of Rail and Road (ORR), we promote safety and value in Britain’s railways, protecting and empowering consumers across the network. We’re looking for someone with extensive project management skills to fill this unique role. You will use your project management skills to manage and deliver a key regulatory project, as well as providing oversight of Network Rail’s delivery of multi-million pound enhancement projects.

The role will see you bringing together specialist inputs from other areas of ORR, including rail safety, engineering and economics. A confident communicator, you’ll liaise with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders, fostering relationships and delivering positive outcomes.

To join us, you’ll be degree-educated and will have experience of working with large infrastructure projects. Thanks to your project management background, you’ll be confident making sounds judgements based on reporting information on cost, schedule and risk. Determined yet flexible, you’ll thrive under pressure - always meeting deadlines. And as a strong team player, you’ll support other members of the team and champion the wider ORR vision.
